    BOSTON (May 9, 2012) – ABACUS Asset Management, a provider of comprehensive commercial real estate asset management services for owners of small to mid-sized office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties, has opened for business in Downtown Boston.

    The company, located at One International Place, will provide real estate asset management services throughout New England, with a focus on the Greater Boston market.

    ABACUS Asset Management founder and principal H. Joseph "Joe" Morrison III has been a long-time player in the commercial real estate arena, having previously worked with Natick, Mass.-based Crosspoint Assoc. and Braintree, Mass.-based The Flatley Co. He has been involved in the acquisition of more than 700,000 square feet of commercial space, the development of more than 300,000 square feet, more than 180 lease transactions and over $180 million in finance deals. He also has been active in the management of more than 5 million square feet and the sale of more than 650,000 square feet of commercial property.

    Boston (August 6, 2012) – ABACUS Asset Management, a leading provider of comprehensive commercial real estate asset management services for owners of small to mid-sized properties throughout New England, has been hired to provide a variety of services for 1550 Soldiers Field Road in Boston, Mass.

    Located along the Charles River, 1550 Soldiers Field Road is a 2-story, 44,800-square-foot office building owned by New Realty Trust. The agreement with the building’s former single tenant recently expired, and Colliers International has been tapped by ownership to market the property for lease.

    1550 Soldiers Field Road is located just two miles from both Exits 17 and 18 off the Massachusetts Turnpike, providing excellent access to Downtown Boston, Cambridge and the inner suburbs. The building, which was extensively renovated in 2000, also provides easy access to Downtown Boston and Route 128. The building features both visitor and employee dining areas, ample conference rooms and a large amphitheater meeting area.

    Situated on more than an acre of land, 1550 Soldiers Field Road sports 150 parking spaces equaling 3.35 spaces per rentable square foot.
